Hey there, Tahlea here!
A little bit about me
I’m 24 years old and have been on Pawshake since the beginning of 2018, building up a trusting client base through dog walking, home visits and house sitting. I have had the pleasure of looking after cats and dogs of all ages, breeds and health statuses throughout the Queanbeyan and Canberra region.
For a year and a half I also worked part-time at a local boarding facility, which strengthened my knowledge in providing active care for animals and optimising their wellbeing while their owners were away. My previous employment at a dog grooming salon (as a dog washer) has amplified my dog handling skills, and my current employment in pet retail has kept my knowledge up to date on all things pet care!
I have my Certificate III in Captive Animals (2022), as well as Certificate II in Animal Studies (2019).
Unfortunately, after looking after so many adorable animals in my free time and getting to meet wonderful pet parents and families, it is time for me to move on to my next chapter in life. I will only be able to house sit with existing clients who I know personally.
