I am a professional animal attendant and sitter with a broad range of experience in providing care for many species and pets and ensuring a great experience for all. I honour the opportunity to bring comfort, fun, safety, and care to the pet and the home, and to give peace of mind to the owner/s.

Services:

I am currently offering the following service only:

Pet Sitting: (Where I, the pet sitter, looks after the pet at the pets/owners place overnight).

Examples of duties for this service can include:

Food & water, cleaning, walks, administer medication, play/enrichment/socialisation/affection, bathing & basic grooming, nail clip, and more if required. I discuss expectations and duties, and my care can be tailored and suited to the pet’s specific needs.

I am a respectful, responsible, thoughtful, careful, & trustworthy guest in the home. I am clean, tidy, mature, and quiet. I bring my own food for the stay and I am minimal in usages around the home. I am experienced in short and long-term stays. 

There are many benefits to keeping the pet in its safe, comfortable, and familiar home, however I bring vacation-like fun at the same time.

*Inner West area, Sydney CBD, Eastern Suburbs & Northern Beaches is preferred, other areas of Sydney and surrounds (including Blue Mountains) may be considered.*

About me:

I have years of paid and volunteer experience caring for many animals, such as working in many different animal rescue shelters, a dog boarding/daycare/grooming centre, street cat/rescue work, and personal experience with family and friend’s pets and my own. I currently work as an animal attendant in a cat shelter (over 2 years) with a highly respected and well-known animal rescue organisation. I have pet sitting services experience with another platform similar to Pawshake.

I hold a Certificate II in Animal Studies (ACM20117), completed in 2018 from TAFE NSW, studying 12 units. I am fully vaccinated.

I have interpersonal skills such as written and verbal communication, honesty, ethics, compassion/sympathy/empathy, reliability, and organisation. I am skilled in animal handling, cleaning, feeding, exercise and enrichment, animal medicine, hygiene, safety, and animal health and welfare. I continue to keep up to date with pet info/training.
