Hello fellow fur parent,

About us:

We are a young couple (we like to think of the 40s as young :p ) who have both grown up with and around dogs (German shepherds, Labs, Tibetan mastiffs, Pomeranian) and have plenty of experience pet sitting for our friends.

We live with our loveable, excited and energetic 2.5 yr old chocolate Lab girl - Rumi (pronounced Roomy), in the beautiful suburb of Brighton East.

In short,we are dog people :):) 🐕 🐶

Since we understand the need to have trusted and loving pet sitters to look after our fur baby when we are away, we want to make ourselves available for pet boarding/hosting for others so they can travel in peace.

Our Rumi is a super friendly and loving doggo who is great with other friendly dogs.

Home arrangements:

Our house is secure, well fenced, with a gate, and has a medium sized front and backyard for your dog to play, pee and poo in. It has a mix of mulch and wooden decking. We have security cameras at various spots outside for security purposes and to keep an eye on the pooches.

Since we have a very social and excited dog of our own, we can only host 1 small sized, well mannered & well socialised dog, at any given time, to be able to manage the energy levels. Our dog is like a family member and is an indoor dog, hanging with us while watching tv, cooking etc. Your dog will be treated as a family member too ☺️🥰

My husband and I, have a mix of work from home arrangements for our own dog, so most often during the work week one of us will be working from home therefore keeping your dog company. However, there may be some days when we both might be working in the office on the same day, so your doggo will be where Rumi is i.e indoors with sections of the house cordoned off and access to the outdoor.

Services:

Boarding (overnight stay): $65

Your dog will be taken for a 30 min walk in the morning and evening same as Rumi.

Day Care (max 10 hour stay): $50

We can administer oral medication (as we do for our own doggo) . We have plenty of toys to stimulate and keep the dogs busy and playful, and to expend their energy.

About your doggo:

Your dog must be fully vaccinated, neutered, toilet trained and well socialised, friendly with other dogs, and non threatening to kids. They must have no behaviour issues or tendency to destroy things, dig backyards, or being an escape artist -- that's no fun 🤪 As much as we understand and feel whole heartedly for pooches who are wired differently and have inherent issues, unfortunately we are unable to house large, reactive, anxious or dominant dogs with our own dog.

Details of any medical history must be disclosed, and brought along with the medication.

You will need to bring along your dog's paraphernalia - eg: leash, bed, dog food, dog bowl, and arrange for pick up and drop off.

We promise to treat your baby like our own - with lots of love & and look after them attentively, so you can enjoy your holiday 🏔️ 🏝️ 🌅 You will be sent regular photo updates and communication re: your pet.

A meet and greet of the dogs and the parents will be a requirement to assess mutual suitability before a booking is confirmed. Please feel free to ask any questions.
