I am Sarah, a 29 year old healthcare worker who grew up in rural Tasmania, moved to Geelong for university a few years back and now call this place home.

Through the week I work as an occupational therapist, I enjoy getting out for a daily run or stroll around the river, and on weekends I enjoy spending time with friends and making the most of the beautiful outdoors this area has to offer.

I've grown up very lucky to be surrounded by animals-dogs, hand reared lambs and calves, Guinea pigs, even a pet goat. I love animals, and I think they bring so much joy to every family. When we went away on holidays we relied on family to care for our pets, but now that I'm living away from my own family I can see that things might not be this easy for everyone. I want everyone to have the opportunity to have a reliable and trustworthy person to love their pets like they would their own, so that they can enjoy being a pet owner and having trips away with their loved ones.

I grew up with pets, am experienced with pet sitting, and have two years of fostering experience for Geelong Animal Rescue, where my role was to take on rescued dogs and train and love them until they were 'adoptable'. I am comfortable with all dogs-big or small, old or young. I just ask that you alert me to any behavioural issues before you leave so I am not caught unawares!

I offer 30 minute home visits daily, twice daily can be negotiated depending on your area. I offer a 45minute walk per day (length can be negotiated on prior agreement with the owner).

I do offer house sitting as required, however as I am allergic to cats this is only possible in a dog only household. I work full time, and my work requires me to be in and out through the day seeing clients so whilst I cannot be at home all the time, I can be there consistently through the evenings/nights, and will be at home around client bookings through the day.

I am available seven days a week, and my work allows me to be reasonably flexible. I can visit mornings or evenings, in special circumstances I can visit through the day.

I will only take one 1 job at a time, so rest assured your dog will be the centre of my attention for the duration of your trip.
