Hi there! My names Kally, 40 years young, living the dream in Carlton with my gorgeous son and our 3 fur babies. I'm a very experienced professional animal carer and I look forward to caring for your fur babies soon!

For the past 2 years I have worked at the local pet store, serving our communities day to day pet and fur family needs.

Previous to my current position at the pet store, I was in paid employment with the RSPCA as an animal attendant in the shelter. Specifically the cattery, where I was solely responsible for the care of up to 80 cats on a daily basis. This included the basics of feeding, cleaning, medicating, daily enrichment and also health monitoring, behavioural assessment and working closely with vets and other shelter staff. In my employment at the RSPCA I received extensive training in cat and dog care and have also worked in the care of rabbits and Guinea pigs in the shelter.

Prior to this I owned and lived on a farm and cattery in northern NSW, with my son Jaxen. My cattery was primarily a boarding facility where during peak season I would have up to 44 fur guests at a time plus we always had numerous rescue cats and kittens that lived with me until old enough or well enough to find their furever homes. On our farm, I kept cows, horses, dogs, chickens, rabbits and Guinea pigs.

Growing up I also lived on a farm with my mum and grew up working in her cattery and helping with the cows, horses, chickens, dogs, goats and so many more!

In recent years, we've had the great pleasure of raising numerous litters of puppies in our home from birth to 10 weeks old and we regularly dog sit for friends, family and paying customers. We are an animal crazy family, they are our life. Our own fur babies Frankie the Cavoodle, Senen the Poodle and Sage the tabby cat are never far from our side, often with friends! I also have experience with Fish and birds (my dad was a bird breeder!)
