MY SERVICES:

I PROVIDE:

* Time outdoors everyday for 2 hours or more (weather dependent)

* Access to both backyard and indoors when home

* dogs sleep indoors overnight

* multiple dog beds

* dog bowls and puzzles 

* security cameras for an extra layer of safety

* no children in a smoke-free household

* pictures and video updates

* Limit of only 2 or 3 dogs at a time to ensure top quality care and attention

YOU PROVIDE:

* Enough dog food and treats 

* Collar / harness and leash

OUTDOOR TRIPS EXPLAINED:

At a minimum, I take dogs to different fenced off-leash dog parks so they can run and burn energy fast. I also walk dogs on different nature walking trails to give dogs more variety. And if the dogs have good recall, I take them for off-leash walks along the beach. My ultimate goal is to keep dogs calm, content and happy at home by giving them adequate exercise outdoors.

DOG SOCIALISATION:

Dogs will share their space with other dogs in some way, whether it's in my home, car, at the dog park, or when passing other dogs during walks. Because of this, I can only take dogs who are comfortable around other dogs. Since all dogs are unique, I use my familiarity with different dog parks and walking trails to determine which ones will suit the dog's personality.

ON DOG TRAINING:

I am not a dog trainer, but I use elements of dog training to communicate with dogs. I only use 4 basic commands: "come", "sit", "stay" and "leave it". If a dog understands more commands, then I will gladly practice it. Dogs do not need to be perfectly trained, but they need some level of good dog manners. I always try to reward good behaviour, I am very seldom firm, and I avoid using force unless it is a safety issue. Unfortunately, I won't be able to handle serious behaviour issues or reactive dogs.
