About me:

We’re a young professional couple living in our own home in Carville Street, Annerley. I work in administration at the Mater Hospital and am studying computer science. Ha Ly is a practicing accountant and studies psychology at UQ. We love to rock climb, play board games and bake bread (I sometimes sell it to my neighbours). 

Despite loving animals big and small, we’ve currently limited ourselves to one timid cat named Bailey. We miss having a busier house, especially dogs, having had many animals growing up. We had a lovely moggy cat (Toby), a Border Collie (Mya), a German Sheppard (Barney), a grumpy pony (Misty), some Isa Brown chooks, and 2 rainbow lorikeets (Pauly and Lucky). We figure that the next best thing to having a house full of animals is taking care of someone else's! we'd love to take your dog for a walk or check in on your cat when you need.  

We do have a car and we are able to travel, but as we’re just doing this for the joy of being around animals, we will say no to anything too far afield. If it's a walk/run more than 15 minutes from Annerley, or a housesit more than 30 there's a good chance we'll say no due to work.

Walks:

We go regularly in Annerley and the surrounding suburbs, so that area would of course be our preference. Our walks are normally about half an hour and in either the morning or evenings. There's a dog park in the area, so if you'd like for us to take yours there, we'd be happy to, but otherwise we quite enjoy walking through the suburbs/along the river. If it’s a cafe dog, we normally stop in at one of the local coffee shops before going to the park. 

Runs:

I understand not every dog is suited to going for a jog, but if you're happy for yours to go for a run with me, I normally go no more than 10km (one day I'll be fitter though!). 

Pet visits/sitting:

We’ll be happy to pet sit and check in on your pet. Pawshake requires us to answer a few questions about how long visits will be and how many consecutive days we can house sit, but we’re very flexible between the two of us and can work around you and your preferences in that regard. I do shift work with the hospital, so I can't guarantee when I will be working so it's best just to ask.

We’re happy to comply with any security measures you have in place in your home. We’re available morning, afternoons and evening, but certainly prefer mornings.
