Hi! I'm currently studying a Bacehlor of Veterinary Science at JCU and worked at a boarding kennels & cattery for four years prior to moving to Townsville for university. I'm a friendly, reliable and mature 19 year old female and would love the opportunity to look after your beloved pets. I have my own car so transport is not an issue and I am available any day of the week.

In my time at the Kennels and at uni, I've gained lots of experience looking after animals of all shapes, sizes and personalities, including dogs and cats, puppies and kittens, birds, guinea pigs, snakes, cattle, horses, sheep, goats and pigs! I've also cared for many animals with special needs and requirements (including medical issues) so no pet is too hard to look after. Part of my job the kennels involved caring for the animals at the local pound which fueled my passion for animal health and welfare and led me to become a member and volunteer of animal rescue/adoption groups - I continue to be involved in this to date.

I have also spent time in several vet clinics, on horse and cattle properties and in other animal-related establishments during university placements.

I'm very active and have my own Kelpie X rescue puppy that needs LOTS of exercise so I'd be more than happy to take your dog for extra long walks or runs! I am happy to discuss the duration (standard walk is 30mins) and frequency of the walks to suit your preferences. My dog is also very social so if your dog would like a play mate while you are away this could be arranged upon your approval.

I guarantee to provide you with regular updates if requested - plus lots of photos so you don’t miss your furry friends too much! I completely understand how worried owners get about leaving their animals behind when they go away so I'll do everything I can to ensure your pets have the best possible time while you're gone.
