Hi there! My name is Mel and I'm a small animal vet. I graduated from the University of Melbourne as a vet in 2018. I'm 31 years old, originally from Adelaide, but have lived around Australia. I grew up with two pets: a little black cat called Abby and our rescue dog Louie.
Throughout my studies I've been lucky enough to live in the same house as two beautiful rescue cats. I now have my own two little bunnies Saturn and Charlotte.
You know you can trust me to be kind and patient with your pets, and if you have any special needs animals that need some medication - you've got the perfect person! I love both cats and dogs, and all small fluffies like rabbits, rats and mice too.
The services I am able to provide are:
-Feed your pets and provide medications
-A quick visit to your house (45 minutes- 1 hour) to feed your pet if you are unable to, or to help administer any medications as prescribed by your vet.
-Walk dogs
- One hour walk in your local neighbourhood. If applicable, this can include time at a local dog park (at your request)
Provide basic grooming services:
- A 30 minute wash (dogs), a 30-minute brushing and nail clip session (cats/dogs/rabbits)
-A home visit
- Some TLC if you're going away!
One hour of playtime, cuddles and company at your home!
If there's anything else that you may need, or would like to negotiate times - feel free to ask, I'm flexible. Unfortunately as I have two little buns at home, I can't have animals stay over my house. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
