Hi! I'm Anna, and I'm a dog lover! 🐶 I live with my partner, James, who is just as dog obsessed as I am (if not more!). We've both grown up with dogs, and this year added a recent furry addition to our family, an 8-month old staffy cross rescue named Freya. Given the time, attention and love we give to our girl, we thought it would be a great opportunity to open our house up for your pet-sitting needs! ❤️

Freya is an absolute love bug, and hasn't met a human or dog that she doesn't like. She would LOVE to spend her days with another dog or two. She is very well socialised and is comfortable having other dogs in her space and doesn't get possessive over food or toys. She can be quite lively and playful at times, so hopefully your dog is okay with this! However we have a baby gate between the upstairs and downstairs if your doggo needs some alone time!

We take Freya out twice a day, whether it be for a walk or to one of the nearby dog parks. We also take her on weekend cafe and beach outings, etc. Your dog would of course be included in any and all of these activities, which we can tailor based on your dog's needs. I work from home full time, so your dog would rarely be alone and is welcome to spend the day lazing around the house or sunbaking on the patio. ☀️

As well as loving and caring for our own dog, I have pet sat on many occasions both professionally and for friends, taking care of various dogs, from whippets to golden retrievers, and greyhounds to cavoodles. I have always treated these pets with lots of love and care, as though they are my own. When my best friend recently went to Europe and I took care of her whippet, she told me that I was the only one she would trust to take care of him for this very reason!

We live in a 4 bedroom townhouse, which your dog is welcome to move around freely. The downstairs has access to a small, fully fenced, paved patio with a garden bed, which has doggy door access. Your dog is of course welcome to sleep inside with us.

Please note, we have a 5 year old child that lives with us half the time, so your dog would need to be comfortable around children if she is here during your dog's stay. We have taught her to be gentle and respectful of our dog's boundaries, and would reinforce the same with her and your dog.
