I am currently studying the Doctor of Veterinary medicine and grew up on a farm in Tasmania with numerous dogs, cats, birds, horses and farm animals.
I have also spent time volunteering in Africa at an abused animal shelter and vet clinic, where I helped rehabilitate and train misunderstood animals with the aim of re-homing. During my time at the shelter, I also assisted with veterinary care and surgeries.
When I was still living in Tasmania, I worked at a large doggy daycare facility where I was responsible for up to 40 dogs at any one time. This experience made me far more familiar with a wide variety of dog breeds, as well as ensuring a wide range of care needs were met.
My partner and I live in a nice sunny apartment in Carlton, with Rathdowne dog park and heaps of other ovals and walks surrounding. We provide dog sitting services in our own home, which is a two-bedroom apartment with a small balcony (we don't usually let dogs onto the balcony unless they are used of the apartment lifestyle).
We have been dog sitting for over two years now and absolutely love getting to know everyone's personality. Our normal day with your pet looks like a nice big morning walk and play, followed by usually one of us at home studying and another walk around lunch time if the dog is active. The apartment gets heaps of sun so plenty of time is spent sunbathing. The afternoon is usually when we have the biggest walk of the day and we will go until the dogs are ready to go home and settle in for the night.
I have an up to date police check, vehicle and I also work at an emergency vet clinic some evenings. When I'm at work, my partner is home with your fur baby for lots of evening cuddles. However, during the day can be out of the house between 2-4 hours per day, so unfortunately cannot have any dogs that have separation anxiety. ❤️
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. 7 days before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
