I am a gentle natured young at heart, animal and nature loving 50 yo non smoking woman... happily looking after homes &/or small pets for owners all around the Sunshine Coast.

I am a perfectionist and have a healthy touch of cleanliness ocd :) and a non-smoking home sitter so you can rest assured that your house will be in 'clean & fresh' hands while you're away! :-)

I love taking care of homes for people and knowing that owners are able go away with peace of mind and confidence is a wonderful feeling :) I take pride in making sure owners have their best holiday experience without any concerns about home or loved pets. Whether you are heading off to see family for the first time in a long time, visiting long wished for holiday destinations or just a quick camping trip down the road, I'm happy to help :) I love caring for any smaller pets as well and adore caring for the little ones who love love! :-) I feel very happy pampering your Divine little ones and have a habit of falling in love with them all very quickly, so will always care for any fur or feather babies as if my own.

I spent many years in Australia and the UK as a live-in carer of elderly and disabled people, where a large part of my role included housekeeping so I am more than comfortable looking after your house/home and maintaining it's smooth running in your absence... I will happily water any plants and gardens you have and make sure your flowers continue to bloom while you're away as well :-) Also keep a check on the pool, take bins in/out, collect or re-direct mail, liaise with tradespeople, administer medication to pets, organise vet visits where required, some grooming and anything else we may agree upon.

As a solo sitter, I have made so many wonderful connections along the way... with both animal and human kind  :)

It is so rewarding to be able to care for and provide love and cuddles to so many beautiful pets for owners while they travel.  It is my mission to ensure all pets are kept happy and safe, loved and healthy, protected and played with and given all the love they would normally receive from you! :)

On a practical level, I'm also invested in collecting or re-directing your mail, watering plants, administering medication to pets where required, maintaining their health and well-being.. and any other requirements we agree upon. 

I am so grateful to home and pet owners as well  for providing a safe and clean environment for us sitters, so we are able to look after and care for your home and animals in the best way possible, thank you🙏😌

* I offer home owners security for their home and animals when I am staying and feel uncomfortable with internal cameras in a private space, so will only accept home-visits if they are present, thank you for understanding.

"From the moment I first spoke to Katie I knew that I could have complete confidence in leaving my home and precious little girl Stella, my 13 year old gentle natured  Staffie, in her safe hands.

During the 2 weeks I was away Katie updated me daily with photos of a very happy and contented Stella. This was very reassuring and allowed me to enjoy my holiday knowing she was being so well looked after and loved. In fact I’m sure, given a choice Stella might pick Katie over me!

"We have had Katie stay looking after our pets and home for our major holiday 2 years running.. on both occasions she has cared so beautifully for our little dog Millie, fed and watered our chooks, watered the garden and taken great care of our house :) While we were away we were able to touch base with Katie to see how things were going and she always kept us up to date, she walked Millie often and even took her for swims - we sense Millie misses her now! We can't recommend Katie highly enough to anyone looking for a caring honest person to sit their home and dog. "We were lucky enough to have Katie stay at my fathers house for a month whilst he travelled. Katie was responsible for looking after the property as well as the 2 family poodles. The house was kept immaculate at all times and the dogs would have gone with her when it was time to leave, if they could have. I would have no hesitation in recommending Katie to look after a property and being responsible to care for pets. We were really lucky to have crossed paths and incredibly grateful for her kindness towards the dogs whilst my father was away!"

"Katie looked after my senior pug, Penny, and my home for all of July. She ensured that Penny was well cared for the entire time. She took her for walks to her favourite cafe where she was able to socialise with familiar people and dogs. She ensured that Penny felt safe, secure and warm at all times and sent me many photo updates where I could clearly see that Penny was content and happy. My home was well cared for as well and spotless when I returned from my travels.

"Katie house sat and looked after my pets for me in Benowa, Gold Coast for 12 days. Katie kept me updated with photos and messages of my little dog and cat. My dog was walked every day...taken to the park and the beach. It was very comforting to know my pets were well cared for while I was away and I did not have to worry about them. My home was also really well looked after, the whole house was clean and tidy when I returned home. I have had many house sitters over the last 6 years and Katie is without a doubt the best one I have ever had! She is a lovely honest compassionate and caring person and I highly recommend her!"
