Amelia

Hey there! I’m Amelia, a 28-year-old experienced animal lover who would love the pleasure of looking after your fur child/ren :-) I've recently moved to Melbourne from NZ with my cat Lulu, and have full availability until I start full-time work. I really miss my dogs I walked back home, and would love to meet yours! (And your cats!) 

My experience with animals

I absolutely adore animals and have 6 years of experience as a pet sitter and SPCA NZ volunteer. I've been fortunate to grow up with animals and am a proud cat Mum to Lulu, a 7-year-old SPCA rescue who made the move over to Australia with me. 

My volunteer experience at the SPCA was within the vet care section, so I have plenty of experience looking after sick animals—mostly cats, dogs, and rabbits. If your cat needs medication, that's no problem! Lulu receives pills every day, and I have lots of experience medicating cats from my SPCA days.

When it comes to your doggo's size and breed, I don't discriminate! I have experience with large pups that are strong pullers, through to sassy chihuahuas (or hua hua's as I like to call them lol). 

What I offer

Note: As I have a cat of my own, I am unable to do overnight stays. I do not have a car and rely on my bike and public transport to get around. Because of this, I only accept bookings within 5km/20 min cycling distance from my home in Brunswick, or 30 mins on PT.

Availability

I have full availability at the moment, 24/7, 7 days a week
