Hi, I'm Bridie.

I've grown up training seeing eye dogs to be well behaved in the home, toilet on command, managing anxiety, whistle feeding, equipment adjustment/sensitivity, basic commands, socialisation, crate training, loose leash walking, hind leg awareness and more.
I have experience with backyard chickens and have four of my own currently.
I love working with all sorts of dogs but working with Labradors and Golden retrievers or mixes are where I am most experienced.
I have had over 5 years of fostering working dogs and house sitting dogs in a paid position.
I want to be pet sitting as I love working with animals and miss the hands on work I've done previously.
I'm more than happy to cater to your pets needs, whether they love to cuddle on the couch and need lots of rest or need mental and physical stimulation.
Basic grooming such as nail cutting, coat brushing and teeth brushing are something I can also provide.
Large dogs that pull/have prey drive are not ideal for walking as I'm only petite. I'm happy to house sit large/giant dogs and walk them if they are not a "puller".
I don't allow any dogs into my home currently, due to renovations.
Animals without vaccinations are welcome currently.
Please let me know what your pet likes to do, what their usual schedule is, any allergies, medications or stimuli that may cause your pet anxiety.

From the moment I met Bridie and saw how she interacted with our two Labradors, I was very keen to book her in for petsitting - and she didn't disappoint! Her calm, confident manner and deep skills in understanding dog behaviour, and training, meant our boys and their diverse needs (very old and quite young) were met beautifully and we could enjoy our family holiday, without worry. Our home was also cared for and clean!

Bridie is a great pet sitter, and looked after our 1.5 yr old Labrador very well. She knows how to handle dogs and has experience training them.
Bridie was very caring towards Rumi's needs. It was a very hot week and she ensured our doggo stayed cool, gave her ice cubes and kept her engaged with toys when couldn't go out in 35 degrees for a walk.
She even did a bit of training while we were away.
Communication was easy, Birdie was very responsive and came home a couple of times before the stay for briefing. We engaged her for 2 dog walks before the stay, so she and Rumi got to know each other.
Bridie left our house very clean and tidy, and followed all the instructions. We would recommend her for house sits and use her services again in the future.
