Hi!
I love pooches but anything with fur is good with me to cuddle, pet, and take for walks in the beautiful leafy area I live in. It motivates me when I have a dog around. That said I have also owned rabbits, fish, chickens and birds.
I always had a dog growing up and a couple of my own in adulthood but no permanent residents currently. Just waiting for the next 'holiday guest' between my parents grey nomad adventures when I take 'custody' of their new favourite child - Ella the Beaglier 🤣
I love the company of dogs, and whilst I seem to attract the bigger breeds, any dog is fine by me.
I have a large, leafy, fully fenced backyard with a large doggy door. The side gate is not full height which make jumpers not a good fit 😔. I am a person who believes a dog has as much right to enjoy my house as I do so they would be welcome to join me on the couch for a cuddle (if okay with you).
The area I live in offers many walking opportunities and if your dog loves a drive and gets along with people and other dogs I will gladly take them with me on various adventures.
I am now working full time but it is close to home so not generally away from home for abnormal or extended periods. They would need to be comfortable to hang out for the day although the neighbouring doggo would likely say Hi through the fence to keep them company. And his parents are often home and keep an eye out for me during the day, they alert me if required and I have the flexibility to pop home and settle them if required.
I genuinely love dogs - they make me happy, keep me active and there's nothing better than that welcome they give you when you get home.
I am happy to answer any additional questions or arrange a visit.
