Hi there! 

My name is Jose, and I relocated to Canberra from Peru to study my PhD at ANU. I decided to pet-sit as I realized how much I missed having a pet around the house, which was always the norm while growing up in my home country. I have been pet-sitting for three years now in many suburbs of Canberra and in Royalla, New South Wales.

My experience ranges from giant to small breeds, such as Great Dane, Greyhound, Japanese Spitz, Shih Tzu, Groodle, and different types of cats. 

Since my schedule is flexible, I am available all day to keep your pet company and give them lots of attention while you are away. I understand how important it is to know your pet is happy and well-cared for, which is why I will send you daily updates, pictures, and videos of your furry loved ones! 

The services I provide include feeding, walking, cleaning kitty litter for cats, cleaning the backyard for dogs, mail collection, watering indoor and outdoor plants, taking out the garbage, and administering any kind of medication. 

For home visits, I offer up to 1 hour of service, which includes changing the water, preparing food/feeding, dog walking, and checking the mailbox and plants if required. 

For dog walks, I am happy to take your dog on a regular walk to keep their routine as similar as possible to what they are used to. 

For house sitting, I will look after your dog(s)/cat(s) at your place when you are away overnight or for a few weeks, with regular communication. I take the security of the houses I stay in seriously. I ensure everything is locked up when I am away and will be around the house in the evenings.
