Hi my name is Caitlin! I'm 27, from Newcastle in the UK, however ventured to this side of the world towards the end of 2019. Over the past few years I have grown to love living in Australia, but one thing I do miss is having a companion running around! I am from a family that has always had a dog, mainly border collies so I am not shy in knowledge on how to handle larger and more active breeds. I also have experience in looking after dogs across a range of ages including puppies and elderly. Recent longer sits I have complete have been 2 small dogs for a 12 week period, which I loved having the company of and a 3 week house sit/dog sit for an active working dog so super keen and open to all enquiries.

I, myself, am an active person and love the outdoors. I currently work as a scientist for a veterinary pharmaceutical company, therefore animal health is something I show great interest in. I would love love love to get a dog of my own, however at the moment I am waiting for my permanent residency approval before I make that commitment. In the meantime, I am opening myself up to help doggy owners out by providing dog sitting (which can be overnight) or walking services in my spare time.

Services:

- Dog walking, happy for a range of distance/time depending on the dog size and need.

- Dog sitting, sometimes this is a more convenient option for the owner and the dog. I would be happy to come stay at your home to look after your pet - this option is sometimes preferred as it is less unsettling for your dog.

- Dog boarding max 2 small or 1 medium. Length can vary depending on availability. Dog must be housetrained (apartment living) and can be left alone on days where I would be working in the office. If not, I am happy to discuss a discount should you want to them to go to daycare during the day.

- Happy to administer any oral medication.

- Happy to take dogs to their grooming appointments or to doggy daycare.

- I work flexible hours with the option to work from home 1 or 2 days a week. Monday is my fixed WFH day. I also live with my partner so there wouldn't be long periods of time where the dog will be left on their own as he starts/finishes earlier. Weekends they will be with us all day.

I live in a spacious one bed apartment with a large balcony in bondi junction. I live a 10 minute walk to centennial/Queen's Park/Cooper park and local to all the costal routes so plenty of options to take your dog out for walks.
