I have always loved animals, big and small, fluffy, furry, feathered, scaly, or otherwise. I grew up in the country with lots of animals around me - cats, dogs, parrots, horses, and cattle. My mother always had cats, and I had my own pony. I have loved and minded many beautiful pets over the years. I now live in North Rockhampton with my husband and two cats.

I love all animals and usually get on very well with them. I have cared for guinea pigs, chooks, birds (including parrots), fish, lizards, and adapt to more exotic animals with a small amount of tuition. I am more than happy to spend quality time with your pet when I visit - at least half an hour during which I will feed them, talk to them, play with them, and groom them (brushing only; not clipping/trimming). I can also administer basic medication if needed, as long as clear, written instructions are provided.

I am happy to take small to medium sized dogs for walks, provided they are not too boisterous as I have a bad back. For this reason, I only walk one dog at a time. I have researched some basic dog handling and training techniques, which I have used with success on jobs that last longer than two weeks. I usually walk dogs for half an hour to an hour around their local area, unless you live within walking distance of a dog park.

While I am visiting your home, I will bring in the mail and water plants as needed. I will clean up any messes your pet/s make (within reason), and leave your premises safe and secure upon leaving. I have proven myself to be extremely trustworthy to past clients - in your home/yard, I don't touch anything that's not connected to the pet visit, except to tend pot plants and gardens (I am a dedicated gardener myself, and love growing things).

I am keen to accept as many pet-minding jobs as I can, but as my transport options are limited, I only service the suburbs of Rockhampton. I cannot accept any jobs out of town. This means no jobs in Gracemere, Fairy Bower, Port Curtis, Pink Lily, Edenbrook, Parkhurst, or anywhere past Nerimbera going towards Emu Park. I would really appreicate it if people living further afield wouldn't request my services, as I dislike having to say no. Thankyou!
