My name is Lainey and I have just completed my Bachelor's degree in animal-related sciences and work as a team member at Petbarn. The residence where I live presently contains two dogs, one outdoor cat, and several chickens. All my animals are friendly with other pets. The property is a half acre, with four securely fenced areas where animals can be separated if ever required. There is a large downstairs area where pets would be allowed to stay inside as well as supervised upstairs access. There are also three other full time residents living in my house, who are happy to aid with entertainment for your pets and assist with feeding time.
I worked with a dog training company for 18 months before moving into my new role at Petbarn. I have always had animals around me growing up and therefore have a sound knowledge of how to care for most species. I am also able to care for exotic species, as work in my degree has given me a base knowledge of their physiology.
Being a pet sitter is a great way for me to both follow my passion and to work on a flexible schedule, therefore allowing time for my primary job. I love to gain more experience through working with different individual pets and I believe that this job allows me to learn new techniques with every new client.
My service offers dog walking, house visits, house sitting and home boarding. I also am willing to pick up or drop off pets, depending on the distance of the house they usually reside in. A typical day with my service for any animal would be ample time for the pet to meet me, adjust to their surroundings and relax. I would spend time playing with the pets, providing enrichment through their food and potential training, as well as allowing them to socialise with my own animals if the pet will be staying in my home.
Lainey is an amazing person who our three pets adore.
Lainey was amazing 💙
