About Rebekkah

Hi I'm Bek :) I love animals and had pets almost all my life! My 5 yr old daughter Maya loves animals too! 

We have recently sold our home, purchased a Motorhome, and plan to travel around Australia 2024. While we are still based on the Sunshine Coast (for now) we would love to help you by looking after your pets and home. We have been doing house & pet sitting for friends and through other websites for a little while now and are really enjoying it. 

Pet/house sitting is a great way for us to experience a little home life while we are moving around and travelling so much. Pet sitting is also one way to allow Maya to experience having a pet without owning one and it's also a wonderful way to experience all different types of pets. 

As we have our Motorhome we are also happy to sleep in it instead of your home as we really enjoy our set-up. Though we would make use of your home to ensure your pets get as much love and attention while we are there. 

We would be offering the following included in our fee

  • Price includes the care of up to 3 pets

    • Cats - clean litter tray and spend time with the cat

    • Dogs - At least 1 hour of physical exercise (can be broken down as indoor/outdoor play, multiple walks or one long walk as per agreement with owners); pick up all dog poop in the backyard during the stay

    • Dog and cats have space to move around and explore. Not to be tied up or kept in a crate for long periods of time.

    • Small pets - Tidy cages and do a full clean if the booking is more than 4 days

    • We are happy to stay in the home up to 20hrs in a 24hrs period, should your pets require that attention.

    • Housekeeping - collect mail, water plants, put out the bins on garbage day. I would ensure your home is left clean and tidy as is the condition when we arrive.

    • I've previously owned small, medium and large dogs (up to 3 at a time) as well as other animals. Depending on their strength and size, I'm comfortable walking 2-3 dogs at a time. I am very strong and have walked my last 2 dogs (medium and large - and very strong), by myself quite easily. I'm really good with animals and bond with them really quickly.

      Maya absolutely loves cats among other animals (as well as dogs, though I am more the dog person and she's more the cat person!).

      Our most recent house and pet sit was a large dog, 2 sheep and some chickens 🙌

      I've had animals most of my life though it's only been in recent yrs that I have cared for other owners animals at their house while they are away. I've cared for cats, dogs, sheep, chickens, fish, birds, rabbits, horses and more..A combination of my own animals and sitting others. I mostly have cared for dogs and enjoy walking them, playing with them, giving them pats and making them feel loved. I can handle big dogs and small ones too.
