I originally begun house sitting when I was 20 years old and living in the USA whilst on a dual soccer and academic scholarship (studying pre-med). I loved the experience of taking care of my soccer coaches animals and apartment in the city. Upon my return to Australia, I begun booking myself jobs via word of mouth and before I knew it, I had lots of people contacting me after hearing positive reviews of my care taking. I can put this down to two things, one is that I have a genuine love for animals, and two is that I have a deep respect for peoples homes, and leaving them immaculately clean when their owners return home.

I really enjoy spending time with animals, and have not been able to have my own due to not having had my own place. I work part time as a marketing manager, while launching a social enterprise on the side. This has also meant that the opportunity to do house sitting has been helpful as it has taken the pressure off financially. Because I see this as being unpaid business, I treat it with as much respect and love as I do my own job and business.
