Hi pet lovers! My name is Amy and I am a teacher and a mum! I have cared for animals all my life from birds and ferrets to pugs and cattle dogs! Whilst I am a lover of all animals, I have been fortunate enough to have over 20 years experience in the pet care industry. My family owned one of the biggest boarding kennels in Australia, and the biggest and best in Canberra for 33 years, and this is where I grew up! I began working at a very young age, and eventually went on to be the business manager. When living overseas I visited over 20 doggy daycare and boarding kennel facilities in the USA to look at the best care options for pets. I also worked at a doggy daycare in Vancouver, Canada. 

Now I am a special education teacher, but with two little ones at home I only work one day per week. I have a beautiful medium sized golden retriever called Maple, and she adores all dog breeds and cats! Whilst I adore my Maple girl I miss the variety of dog breeds and other animals I got to be with daily when working in the pet industry! I would love to look after your dog, or small animal for daycares or when you go on holidays!
