My name is Cath and I love all animals, my favourite being dogs, horses and cats, I love them all. I have been a qualified dog trainer for over 15 years and had my own dog walking business for many years as well. I have taken early retirement and enjoy spending time with my furry friends. My husband also loves dogs and is retired. No children. And we have our own small calm, well behaved dog who is happy to have a furry friend sleep over. We go to the park every day for a good run around,. We also have a local beach that they can have a splash in when it is hot. As we are in an apartment we only accept small dogs (no more than 10kg). We have a balcony where we keep real grass that they will have access to 24/7 (pet sensor opens and closes the door automatically). They will need to be well behaved (our neighbours will not be happy if they bark a lot). If I am out, I have a camera set up inside so I can keep an eye on them. I have a small amount of long term clients who have been coming to stay with us for years and haven't accepted any new clients for a long time but have decided now that I have more time it would be great to have more furry friends to cuddle. I have done a lot of research on pet nutrition as well if you are interested to know more I would be happy to pass on my knowledge. I also enjoy giving dog training tips. I understand that every dog has different needs and will follow your instructions (particularly when it comes to food & treats as I understand that some dogs have intolerances or allergies) etc. If you have a puppy (under 6 months), there may be an additional charge as they often require more work but we can discuss that when we meet. All new clients must meet us so we can do an overnight trial (which includes a walk) so we can assess their suitability to our home and assess them with other dogs at parks etc We prefer to mind dogs where we can have a long term relationship over many years. We can't wait to meet your baby.
