G'day folks. When I was in my late teens and early to mid twenties, mum and dad had a kelpie cross german shephard, named Odie. I spent so much enjoyable time with Odie, as I could take her to Castle Hill showground, and with my tennis racquet, hit a tennis ball as far as I possibly could, and she would sprint after it, retrieve it, then dash back to my feet, drop the ball, and look up at me with such anticipation in her eyes, that I would be hitting the tennis ball as far as I could for her to fetch again. This activity could go on for 40 minuites or so, such was her enjoyment, activeness, and fitness. A terrific pet she was! This was way back in the day when recognised dog walking of the lead parks were not even considered, let alone required. Odie was my favourite pet ever!
