Hi! My name is Monique and I have lived on the Gold coast for almost two years now and I’m looking for a cute walking buddy!

I grew up on a small town in far North Queensland where I was surrounded by farm life and all sorts of animals. Growing up we had lots of different pets, including dogs, cats, guinea pigs, mice and birds. Living where I was, I was given first hand experience with farm animals like, cows, horses, goats, pigs and more.

This is where my passion and love for animals started and it has only grown since.

Living in an apartment and always travelling I’m not able to have a fur baby of my own, as I only want the best for my pets. I’m craving the affection of a fluffy friend and this is why I’ve decided to join Pawshake. I really would love to be able to spend my downtime hanging out with a cute new friend and going on long walks, or even the beach. I can’t wait to to look after and care for your fur babies.

I understand how busy life can get and that’s why I’m reaching out to help. I have an extensive list of experience pet sitting and house sitting from former customers when I lived in far North Queensland. Living in a small town, it was easy to get a great rapport with everyone and my clientele grew very quickly. When doing this I would most often be house sitting to look after dogs and cats. Although as the word got around, I was house sitting more often, walking dogs for my elderly clients and feeding small farms of animals like horses and chickens.

I have little academic qualifications for animal care but I have an extensive list of hands on experience. I am happy to take on almost any pets and I understand the hardships around each and very different pet, and I am highly competent in ensuring your pets get the very best out of each and every service. I would class myself as very proficient when it comes to the cleanliness and hygiene of our animals and how important it is to have a tidy, safe and comfortable area for them. I understand all pets may have their own personal and specific needs in addition to all else, and I am more than happy to cater for them.

I just want to give all my extra love and attention to your pets and treat them like my very own for a short period.
