My name is Carol, I'm 22 years old and I'm Brazilian. I arrived from Brazil 2 weeks ago and I just finished my degree in Leisure and Tourism last year. In Brazil I have a dog called Luna, who is almost 5 years old. Well, since I arrived, I noticed that I've been missing living and having animals around me all the time. Here on the Sunshine Coast, there are a lot of dogs, which made me happy and sad at the same time because I'm no longer close to my baby Luna. I've taken care of her since she was 2 months old, so I've seen all the stages of dogs, from the puppy stage that needs attention, the adolescent stage that eats everything in sight and needs to be double trained, to the current stage that is already considered an adult. I also have some experience with cats, having taken care of a friend's cat a few times, so I know how to deal with the daily care of an animal and also with veterinary or medicine issues. Animals bring another perspective on life and everyday life, I want to be able to be close to her and have that connection again. I have been in contact with animals since I was little, where I took care of rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, and some birds. At the moment, I can say that I am open to adopting a new seasonal animal, even if it is just for a few minutes on a walk. You can be sure that I will treat your animal as I would treat my daughter who is in Brazil, with a lot of love, affection, and care.
