Hi, I’m Sandy.

I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats and have always felt happiest with animals around. My husband, Sunny, and I enjoy the company of pets. We previously looked after a beautiful German Shepherd girl through the RSPCA, who is now thriving in her forever home. Seeing a rescue dog grow in confidence and settle happily was incredibly rewarding.

We live near Pratten Park in Ashfield, with a fully fenced backyard and easy access to both on- and off-leash parks. Our home is clean and quiet, offering plenty of room for dogs to play, rest, and relax. Sunny enjoys long walks and games of fetch, and I love gardening in the front and back yard—digging, planting, and redesigning the garden. I enjoy spending time in the yard with our dog friends.

I work as an accountant and Sunny works in IT. We often work from home, so your dog will have plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to prepare fresh meals, provide enrichment treats such as KONGs and slow feeders, send daily photo updates, and assist with bathing, flea treatments, and other care if needed.

We welcome friendly, sociable dogs and may occasionally care for more than one guest at a time. To keep things calm and safe, introductions are gradual and fully supervised. We’ll always let you know in advance if your dog will be sharing our home, so every pet feels relaxed and comfortable.
