Hello, my name is Meliss, I am semi- retired but still researching and studying online courses to be the best I can looking after the pets in my care. Growing up I was always rescuing animals, I developed a passion for dogs and cats which then led me to join animal rescue, during the 25 years or so of rescue, I also worked as an Animal Control Officer (dogcatcher) in Brisbane and Mt Isa, I took these jobs to make sure the animals were cared for and treated with respect. I have owned several businesses including a PET SHOP a CLEANING BUSINESS, and A BOWEN THERAPY practice. Holistic Health for animals has always been important to me.

Staying at the pets home while their owner/s away allows me to give them comfort and support while reducing any stress or anxiety. I try to make it as much fun as possible so your pets feel they're having a holiday, they will be much loved with plenty of cuddles and hugs to help them feel secure, a daily walk is also included in the petsit. I check out places for walks so pets have variety, but also for pets with special needs on walks or in the car. I appreciate owners leaving instructions for feeding, also special needs or requirements will always be adhered to.

(dog poop will be picked up daily, and with cats litter cleaned daily).

The house will always be left clean and tidy.

I have two small dogs, Ben-- a Maltese x Shit-zu aged 11 years and Jackson -- a lLhasa Apso x Shitzu aged 6 years + 3 x Ragdoll Cats aged 5 and 3 and 1 year, who think they are dogs. I am fortunate enough to share a house with my daughter, who looks after my pets when I am away.
