I have always had a pet in my life. While a teenager our family had two friendly demonstrative cats, one busy Border Collie plus gold fish.
As a young married couple we had a golden retreiver, Ramus. We found moving with two children every two years we had limited capacity to keep many pets.
WHY PET CARE
Once we established a home in Perth we again filled our home with pets. After Ramus left us we got a Labrador called Chaos who grew with the children. Our beloved labrador died three years ago and as a family we found it difficult not to have another. We have delayed in getting another. What we realised is there many people who have pets but need to work and want their pet to have companionship while they are at work so instead of having one, we can have many.
My son (16) loves dogs.We have had discussions which breeds are best. With opening our home to many breeds of cats and dogs he will be able to experience for himself the dog breed he likes best.
We live near a large beautiful park where we walk our dogs we mind. Shown is a photo of Buffy being taken for a walk in the beautiful park. Buffy is a lovely gentle dog who stayed with us while her family went and experienced snow in Canada. In the same photo is my son, he likes to help walk the dogs we are looking after.
WHO WILL BE HOME
We run our business from home so there is always someone home.Either all of us or one of us at different times. These include myself,my husband, my student son or my FIFO daughter.
The back yard has a pool where we find the water loving dogs tend to hang out. There are plants to lie on, those covering the bricks. There is hidden earth under the trees where they can do some digging and some serious sniffing. The ducks tend only to come around in winter. The back yard is enclosed and difficult to get out of.
Claire presented as a professional, caring petsitter. As there were other dogs staying with her at the same time as mine, I was particularly impressed with Claire's understanding of the interaction between dogs. My dog has not socialised with many other dogs and Claire made sure she was introduced slowly. This was the first time I had used a pet sitter and I felt at ease leaving my dog with her. Claire sent photos and text messages to keep me connected while I was away.
I would happily use Claire again.
As a returning dog, Bruno is always very happy with Claire. Thank you
I am a registered Nurse/Midwife. If you have an aged pet who requires added attention like insulin injections once or twice a day we can administer those for you.
I have a Police Clerance.
