I’m 27 years old and have recently moved to Sydney after 9 months backpacking South and Central America. I’ve grown up around rescue dogs and have always gotten so much joy from spending time with them. I previously worked as a designer for a small agency in the UK, but I am taking this opportunity to do something I truly love and work with dogs every day. I am available for dog walking and house/pet sitting with a very flexible schedule.

I love working with dogs because they’re full of personality, they bring people together and give us a reason to be outdoors. I would love to have a chat about meeting you and your furry friends and how I can be a good fit for you, and your dogs needs.

Although I don’t have any prior professional experience walking dogs, I’ve looked after dogs for friends and family my whole life, grown up with rescue dogs, and volunteered at a rescue shelter in Mexico, where I walked and socialised dogs of all sizes and temperaments. These experiences have taught me how to handle anxious or reactive dogs calmly and safely, maintain control in busy environments, and ensure every dog feels calm and cared for whilst having fun.

The dogs I grew up with all had varying degrees of complex behaviours as they were either rescue or stray. This has given me years of confidence walking large, strong dogs confidently on a lead. They had different temperaments to other dogs, which provided a strong learned understanding of early signs they were anxious or uncomfortable, in turn helped to anticipate any potential incidents.
