Hey guys, I'm a major animal lover looking to spend more time with animals until I can get my own furry companions. Of course the opportunity to earn a little extra money can't hurt in this economy!

I'm in my mid 30s and I've been around cats and dogs all my life, having grown up with both cats and dogs, especially gentle giants. I have lots of experience looking after dogs in particular and have pet sat for friends in the past.

While I don't have a lot of experience with other animals, I am certainly willing to look after all types of furry friends. Not a lot of pics with me as I am generally more focused on what I am doing rather than my camera, but am more than happy to take some pics to share how your precious pet is doing.

Unfortunately I am unable to have other animals in my house, but would love to look after your precious companions in their environment and treat it like my own. I am able to spend time with your pet, feeding, cuddling, walking, basic grooming, medication, etc and I'm flexible with how much time I spend, especially in the evening or weekends. Mornings are a bit trickier as I have limited time before needing to head to my other vocation in childcare.

If taking dogs for a walk, I'm near an off leash dog park as well as plenty of paths through town and along the river. I am also willing to travel to local beaches and forest areas for a change in scenery.

I have basic experience in training dogs, simply from looking after my own and believe that animals should be allowed to form bonds at their own pace, some need more time and space than others. Using a relaxed manner and calm voice often helps to calm animals and being aware of possible triggers for animals, especially rescues.

I work in childcare so am certainly responsible and am hoping to indulge my other passion. I generally have lots of flexibility on holidays as well. I am also able to perform other basic tasks like collecting mail or watering plants if needed.
