DACHSHUNDS ONLY - sorry we are only taking bookings for dachshunds at this time! MEET AND GREET REQUIRED

We are a child-free couple living in our own home with one miniature dachshund called Turtle. We both work full time but are quite flexible and are normally home for all the main holidays (Easter, Christmas and most public holidays). Booking with us on weekends and holidays means 24 hour supervision. During the week, we both normally work 9-5 but can access flexible arrangements if needed.

We have set up this account to help out other sausage dog owners who need short term boarding - please only enquire if you have a dachshund. Our house is completely secure, with a medium sized backyard, an undercover verandah and a doggy ramp inside. Meet and greet required before booking. (Please note we have just moved house in November and our glazier is running behind due to CoVID so we do NOT have a doggy door at this time).

We offer walks once a day for at least 30 minutes around the neighbourhood. We have previously cared for family and friends' dogs and can cater to all food and sleeping needs. Turtle sleeps in his own weenie warmer on our bedroom floor but is also comfortable by himself in the living room or in his crate in the laundry. We can set up room/beds for your furbaby as needed, and will keep as much to your rules and routines as possible. We also have a small crate that can be used if required.

All furbabies are separated during meal times. Water is accessible indoors and outdoors but no food is left out outside of meal times. We have a secure outer wooden fence, and another internal gate that secures the backyard. We have plenty of bushes to explore and pee on! If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask! We try to board only one dog with Turtle at any time (unless they are siblings already) as we want to share the love evenly and want to provide the best possible care for your furbaby. We are active on social media and can keep you updated with photos and daily activities if you like. Alternatively, we can leave you to enjoy your holiday in peace while knowing your furbaby is well cared for in a safe, loving home.
