Background with Animals

Anybody who knows me would describe me as a crazy animal lover. I have always been, and still am, that person that will be the first to play with somebody's dog, cat, bird, whatever it be before anybody else. From a young age, we have had pet cats (Mitten, Salem and Diesel) and our pet dog Shelby in our family. As a young tacker I was known for trying to collect lizards, butterflies, worms etc. Animals were a large part of my childhood- living in Alice Springs, and Cairns, I was exposed to many aspects of wildlife. Living in Alice involved a lot of lizards, and Cairns involved any animal you can think of. However, I spent many years on the great barrier reef where I have seen and interacted with beautiful marine life.

Who am I?

I am a fun, loving and responsible individual. Often described as well beyond my years, I would confidently describe myself as mature and trustworthy. I enjoy doing anything that involves being outdoors, and am a high energy and enthusiastic young adult. I love all things animals, and have years of experience around animals as well as looking after them. I am passionate about enjoying animals and looking after them.

What I can offer you and why I am motivated to do this

Pawshake is the perfect job oppurtunity for me as I can suit it to my university timetable, and my motivation to be a pet sitter comes from passion for animals. I have plenty of experience with my own pets, however I am also a regular pet sitter for small and large dogs- which includes feeding them, walking them, cleaning up any mess in the yard and loving them. I offer anything that you require inclusive of feeding and water, walking, washing, or just spending time with them. Your animals will get my full attention, and all the time I have to give to them. This would be a minimum of 3 hours a day but most likely more than this. I don't have any size restrictions on animals. A typical day caring for somebody's animals would see me wake up and feed them, have a cuddle and then either brush them or give them outside time. In the afternoon, for dogs, I would typically walk them and have a play with a toy or ball before returning home to feed them. Then in the afternoon or early evening I would feed the animals again, making sure they have water and that kitty litter is clean or beds are ready etc.

As a reliable and honest individual, you can trust me to look after your furry (or not furry) friends and return home to happy animals!
