I am 20 year old student studying at RMIT and a huge animal lover!
I am hoping to feed my love for animals while my pup is away this semester by helping others take care of their pets!
I adopted my dog, a Jack Russel named Mickey, five years ago and he is currently staying with a family memeber this semester. Since adopting a dog, I know how difficult it can be for some dogs to warm up to new people. I am always sure to be gentle and calm when with dogs I've never met.
Aside from taking care of my own dog at home, I also have experience in taking care of other people's dogs. I have dogsat for friends and family members before. I also have volunteer experience at an animal shelter in which I would help walk, feed, and play with the dogs. I am comfortable working with large dogs, rowdy and playful dogs, and dogs that tend to be more anxious or nervous around new people, and handling multiple dogs at once. I will always do my best to make sure your pet is comfortable and enjoying his/her time with me. If your dog is happy then I'm happy!
I am also comfortable taking care of cats, rabbits, and other small rodents or lizards!

Alana was great! She stayed at our house this recent weekend looking after our 12 year old dachshund Frankie. She was great with Frankie, left the house exactly how we left it and gave us regular updates and photos of our pup! I would not hesitate in booking her services again.
