Hi! My name is Sarah, and I’m taking some time off from my veterinary degree to recharge and cuddle as many pets as much as I can!
I have extensive experience with handling just about all species and breeds, even having done placement at the Australian Reptile Park where I fed chameleons, cuddled and cleaned up after snakes, got aquanted with some very sweet crocodiles, and became good friends with the resident redtail black cockatoo ‘Blue’
My own pets include 3 beautiful rabbits, Marcy, Peter and Pablo,two of whom are pictured on my profile. I grew up on a bush land block in central Victoria and often go back there to see my mum and our many family pets, ducks, chickens, guinea pigs, parrots, and of course the dog and cat. Over the years we also owned emus, lizards, goats and sheep, and there were always native animals in need finding their way into our care, this experience was definitely what made me want to be a vet, I just loved to see animals heal and get back to living their happy lives!
apart from animals, I love music, sketching, and getting out the sewing machine now and then, pretty much anything creative, I’ll have a go!
I take my veterinary oath very seriously and promise to take the best possible care of your animals and love them as my own.

Sarah did an amazing job looking after our two doggies in early 2020. The dogs were well looked after and I can highly recommend her if time allows her to look after more pets in the near future. She is now a qualified Vet and most likely may not have sufficient time for these opportunities.

It was great having Sarah looking after Macy and Shadow when I was overseas for 4 weeks. Macy has some medical issues and it was a great comfort having a very knowledgeable vet student caring for her. Both dogs really like her and greeted her enthusiastically when she came for a follow-up visit recently. They also enjoyed a break in their normal routine with two nights away in the country with Sarah. Highly recommend Sarah, especially if you have a pet that needs extra care (like Macy) or is "attention seeking" and demanding (like Shadow!)

I’ve got a wealth of veterinary knowledge under my belt including species wide first aid, animal CPR and resusituation, administration of oral and injectable medications, wound dressing changes, as well as safe and kind handling of painful and fearful animals.
I’m confident clipping nails of most species and although I’m by no means a groomer, I’m more than happy to give your pet a bath and brush if you’d like
