Hello respected pet owners, we are seaside living, work from home, dog lovers through and through. We currently foster dogs through Mornington Peninsula Dog Rescue and Yellow Door Animal Rescues as well as dog sit on our fostering breaks. Fostering is hard work, but it has taught us so much about how to work with the unique needs of each dog, whether it's confidence building, teaching basic skills or just showing them how to be a loving companion to their humans.  

We welcome your canine friends to come and hang out with us when you can't be there. Let us know what you and your pet's needs are and we will do our best to offer a personalised experience that will reassure you your pet is having a great time while you go wherever you need to while they are here. They will have amazing, caring company all day/night, however long they stay - we generally don't leave them for more than an hour if we have to go out, but there 90% of the time at least one of us is home.

We can care for dogs of most sizes/needs:

We have experience in large, medium and small dogs including those with medical needs (we can administer most medications except injections). 

Walking locations & length:

We love to take them on beach walks, to the dog park/oval up the road where they will have a party every afternoon, or just sniffing walks around the blocks if that's more their vibe. We love a good hike so if your dog needs extra exercise we will find an appropriate track to take them. The length of each walk will be tailored to what your pet needs to a maximum of 1 hour and we can do this up to twice a day for our full day/night stays. 

Our home & it's spaces for your dog to enjoy :

We have a large indoor space for dogs to sleep, play or just hang out in. There are dog beds under every desk so cowoofers are well accommodated while we work from home. We also have a fully fenced yard (5-6ft all the way around) they can run laps of around the house and plenty of communal toys to explore. Our foster dog's favourite spot is the XXL cushion on the back porch or the outdoor couch under the alfresco where they can sit and watch the passing bird life. Does your dog need to sleep nearby a human? No problem - we can arrange for their bed or crate to sit in cosy corner near us at night if they need a little reassurance in the dark.

Training:

We can offer basic training during their stay and/or continue their current training plan by focusing on whatever they are currently learning if you let us know specifics. 

Companions: 

We can take up to two dogs at a time if they get along. We don't mix dogs from different households unless they have socialised before and get along. 

Services:

We offer dog boarding at our place, dog walking, dog sitting at your place, single/twice daily wellbeing and feeding pop ins. We are also able to pick up and drop off around the Surf Coast and Geelong area.

If conducting checkins at your place, we will walk or stay and play for at least 30 mins. We are happy to water plants and or bring in the mail as well as feeding your pets and administer any medication (except injections). Same goes for pet sitting in your house. 

If pet sitting in your house, we will not leave your pet for more than an hour or two at the most if we need to pop out to conduct our business.
