Hi all you pet parents, I’m Kristen. I’m a dog lover, always had a dog in my family growing up, and since I started fostering cats I’ve realised I’m a cat lover too. I’ve fostered and temp cared for both dogs and cats in the rescue group I volunteer with. Both my senior cat & my dog were initially my foster pets before I adopted them. My Emmy dog is a nervous one with new people, so I have some experience managing her anxiety.

I’m around dogs alot. When my family all get together we have 4 gorgeous dogs running around the house - 3 are small dogs and the other is the size of a small pony 🤣

I enjoy learning about dog behaviour and have completed the ‘Caring for Dogs’ & the ‘Understanding Dog Behaviour‘ short courses at RSPCA as well as various online courses. I love giving dogs the power of choice & seeing them light up when they figure out how they can earn a treat!

I’m learning a lot about raw & fresh feeding lately, so happy to feed that way if that’s how you roll with your pets. My cat especially loves it!

I have a car if you need assistance getting to vet appointments.

I work full time but parents would be home most days.

Fully fenced yard.

Can offer multiple walks a day if required.

Pets sleep indoors anywhere they like.
