Hi - Julie here - I moved to the Noosa Hinterland in 2017 from Melbourne, a giant leap from apartment living to 20 acres of garden, and I love it.
I have 4 cats (Riley, Zoe, Tiger and Bo) and a dog (Bonnie) - all rescue animals - and they are all fantastic.
Prior to this team of pets I had Burmese cats (2 sets of 2) for the prior 35 years - and I have to tell you that those Burmese are very different cats to the ones I have now :-)
Two of these cats were diabetic, so I have a lot of experience doing blood glucose
tests and injecting insulin.
I love all animals - I was bought up with cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, chooks, cockatiels and mice and can't imagine life without some 4 legged friends.
I volunteer at Noosa RSPCA each week with the cats - feeding, cleaning and socialising, and in Melbourne I volunteered weekly with the dogs at 'Save a Dog', cleaning out pens, walking the dogs and socialisation.
I know how stressful it is to leave your animals when you go on holidays and firmly believe that if you know your pets are being well cared for, you can relax and enjoy yourself, so I would love to look after your animals in their home environment (I give good cat cuddles) and can send you updates and photos each day so you know that they are happy and healthy.
I would spend a minimum of 30 minutes each visit with your animal and can come once or twice a day.
I'm trustworthy and reliable and am also happy to water plants, bring in mail or assist with any regular requirements you may have while away. I would look after your animals as if they were my own.
If you would like your dog walked, I have good experience and can assist.
I have walked dogs of all sizes from Chihuahuas to Wolf Hounds, Cavoodles to Greyhounds, and West Highland Terriers to Berenese Mountain Dogs.
Dog walking times would generally be a minimum of 30 minutes, but again this would depend on your requirements- ie:
the age, breed, size of the dog.
I'm retired and fill my days with gym workouts, my animals, finding a good coffee and doing a wide variety of gardening tasks on my property, but still have plenty of spare time to look after your animals.

We couldn't have asked for a better Pet Sitter! Julie took great care of our old dog and chooks. Daily messages and updates allowed us to enjoy our holiday knowing our pets were being so well cared for. Julie went above and beyond - caring, excellent communicator, reliable and trustworthy. I
highly recommend Julie and we will definetly have her look after our pets in the future.
