Hi there, my name is Rosie! Thank you for checking out my profile - here is a little more about me to see if I could be a good fit for you and your pet/s!
I mainly service Teneriffe, Newstead, New Farm and Fortitude Valley - although can sometimes accomodate a little further out than this depending on your needs and my work schedule etc.
I have been a Vet Nurse for about 6 years now and currently work full time at a 24 hour specialist referral hospital. After leaving the corporate life I started working in a doggy daycare centre and volunteering at the RSPCA while studying - eventually landing my first ‘real’ Vet Nurse job. I then moved into emergency nursing which was super challenging and also so rewarding, before being lucky enough to get a position within the same hospital but in regular daylight hours.
This means I’m confident with the entire spectrum of sizes and personalities when it comes to pets; and can also administer any medications required. Please keep in mind as I do work full time visits will generally be before and/or after work during the week.
**SERVICES OFFERED**
I’m available for in home visits once or twice a day, generally visits for a minimum of 20 minutes or so depending what you and the fur kids need.
Generally this will consist of feeding/water, litter maintenance, medications if required, and any extra care your furry friend may need (along with plenty of pats!). I am also happy to take care of plants, or fish friends you might have.
Unfortunately as I live in a small apartment with my cute but cranky old-man-cat (Patrick), I’m unable to have pets stay with me, and I’m also unable to stay at your place.
While you’re away I can keep you updated however you prefer, whether it be text, email, Facebook, whatsapp or anything else you use! I love taking photos of all the pets I meet so am always happy to send through as many adorable photos as I can catch!
If you have any specific questions please don’t hesitate to ask.
Looking forward to meeting you :)
Rosie is super kind and took wonderful care of our Mochi cat. Thank you so much Rosie!
Rosie is warm, kind and confident.
Ed, our timid cat, responded to her immediately. We were happy to leave him in her care. Our trust was rewarded when we returned to a very happy Ed, who I suspect misses Rosie very much!
Thank you so much Rosie, our holiday was made that much better with the knowledge that you were looking after Ed.
