Charlie

My name is Charlene and my partner Nick and I have grown up with animals all our lives and we have been in the animal medical industry for more than 5 years now. We recently lost our furbaby girl, Emma (the white greyhound in the picture) to cancer and are not ready to adopt just yet. We recently started with Pawshake as we still have lots of love to give and would love to share it through pet sitting in the mean time.

Our family consist of the 2 humans and our other furkids, Dobby, Ella & Rosemary. We are a busy family that loves the outdoors, so if your pooch loves car rides, beaches and meeting other pups, there is plenty of that with us! We often have doggy play dates with our friends. You pet is most likely to hang out with a golden retriever, small-medium bitsa, shih tzu cross, maltese cross, chihuahua cross and a kelpie cross. All desexed, fully vaccinated and up to date with preventatives.

Dobby is a 8 year old male neutered ex racing greyhound. He is typical greyhound couch potato and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. He spends most of his day lounging on the couch or in the garden.

Ella is a 4 year old domestic short hair cat. She is a purely indoor cat that loves a good hiding place. Guest and other pets are unlikely to see her unless she wants you to!

Rosemary is a 10 year old female feline. Aka. Boss Lady. Super fiesty when she does not get her way but otherwise gets along well with both humans and furkids.

Margorie is a female cat and our resident fatty. She will steal anyone's food. She is confident and comfortable with both other cats and dogs.

Our House has a largefully fenced garden, and is situated in a family orientated neighbourhood, with a park less than 100m away. The nearest fully fenced off-leash dog park is only a 5 mins drive away.

All pets are allowed FULL excess of the house day & night, including our beds. Therefore we would appreciate it if your furbaby is fully toilet trained. We will also need your pet to be up to date with vaccinations, worming, tick & flea preventatives.

You will have to provide the dog's preferred food, but we will also provide treats and bones if you give us your approval.

Please be aware that if your pup is not used to being home alone during a working day; then we may not be your best carer. My partner and I work full time and your pet may have to be left alone for up to 10 hours on some days. If your pup is small, I am able to bring your pooch to work (:

We will require a meet and greet and I will get you to complete an information sheet about your pet prior to the stay, including emergency care and contact details.

Again, Furbaby must be up to date with C5 vaccinations & preventatives
