Home Visits - *** specialising in puppies and dogs with special needs ***

My home visits are totally specialised to you and your pet's needs which I will know precisely from our initial meeting. I aim to deliver exceptional value and ensure your pet and all your requirements are looked after.

Home visits are scheduled on days where I'm not committed to my day stay clients.

It goes without saying, these are the basic things that do as part of my visit:

• I'll make sure your pet has food/water, is comfortable, gets some cuddle/play time
• For dogs, we can go for a walk around the block
• Other things you might want me to do include: brushing/grooming, administering medication, check the post, water plants, poop disposal, garbage disposal, security check on premises, etc.
• I always text you a photo to let you know how they are doing at home
• If you have special needs or instructions just let me know - no worries at all!

• Training - from basic puppy training (sit, down, stay, recall) to more advanced protocols (long stays, etc.)
• Crate training for puppies

I'm aware everybody's situation is different and will work out the best combination of home visit services to suit you. In short, the rate is flexible based on what you require, where you live, etc.

Dog Walking

My dog walks are tailored for each dog I take - no exceptions.

Of course, they'll get the exercise but I also strive to provide stimulation, training, fun, and socialisation into the experience.

Any less then I haven't done a good job.

Walks are GPS mapped, timed, and distances recorded - which is SMS'ed to you at the end so you'll know exactly where we've been.

Some notes about my walks:

• Hours: Monday-Friday (8am - 3pm and other times as required), Sat/Sun as required
• We meet and I take notes about your dog and what you/and they require.

I take careful notes of your concerns about dog safety, behavioural traits, likes/dislikes, leash rules/manners, and absolutely anything you want to say or are worried about.

If you like, I will take your dog on a complimentary walk to bond and for you to feel comfortable with my services

Your pet will be very well looked after accordingly to your requirements. Dogs get to roam and play with my own friendly dog in the grassed, fully-fenced back and front yards. They can hang out either outside or chill/sleep inside in a dedicated area in my house. For house trained pets, they are free to roam in our living areas and have my family for company.

Leaving your precious pet with someone else to look after can be worrying, so rest assured I will do my utmost to ease your worries whilst they are away from you. Your pet will be welcomed as another member of the family.

Day care usually only offered on weekdays.

• guests get to enjoy our daily scheduled hotel activites for free (see below)
• we focus on open communication with pooch parents and welcome feedback
• we try to have rockin' fun everyday but are serious about our responsibilities
• if our Poochstar guest is not 100% happy, we'll tell you ourselves and will happily refund your money

• High Tea - parents packed your lunch? otherwise enjoy some of our home made biscuits or carrots/celery (for the Vegans)
• Aerobics On The Lawn - 100 points if you can catch crazy Mr Jax or get remotely close to his prized frisbee!
• Lounge Lizards - nap anytime on our 2 lounges in the living room - sweet dreams!
• Pooch University - our guests see this as 'treat' (kibble) time - but we always run through our 'Sit', 'Down', and 'Stay' commands (Mr Jax thinks he has a PhD. but we're not totally convinced....)
• Cuddly Moments - the hotel manager has a slightly annoying habit of giving random cuddles
• Bush Walks - ah...walking around Randwick Environment Park - this is heaven surely?

My house is on a 600sqm block.

It has a front and backyard and is securely fenced all around. The grassy backyard is where pooches play and hang out (see photos).

We have a leash-free dog park across the road and within a short walk to the Randwick Environmental park where we love to hang out and do bushwalks.

Inside there is multiple hangout spaces depending on activity and who wants to go where :)
