Nadia

Hi, I’m Nadia. I’m based in central Surry Hills in an apartment with outside space and a selection of parks close by. I have no other pets or children so love to spoil any dogs I’m looking after.

I have always had dogs in my family, and I have been dog sitting via Pawshake for nearly three years and regularly look after friends’ dogs to get my doggy fix. Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to gain experience with a wide range of breeds, ages including dog of all sizes.

I work from home full time and enjoy the company of having a dog around. In the post-covid world I am sure there will be plenty of dogs who will take some time to adjust to being at home alone again. I am happy to take on regular bookings for doggy day-care if you are looking for a way to ease them back once you go back to work full time.

On week days as I work full time whilst minding dogs, so I can't look after puppies and ideal hours would align to the work day of between 8.00am and 5.30pm - there is some flexibility depending on the day.

I love running and going for long walks so I love active dogs who can be my running companion! I equally love a dog that’s happy to chill on the sofa and get belly rubs.

I’m lucky to live close to Centennial Park, which is one of my favourite places in Sydney and dog sitting gives me a great excuse to spend more time there.

I understand that leaving your dog with a stranger can be a little unnerving so I’m always happy to do a meet and greet beforehand and I make a point of sending regular updates and photos to put the owners mind at ease.
