Hi there, 

We are Michael (34) and Jeffrey (35), a couple who love all animals and just returned to Sydney after travelling for 6 months abroad. We volunteered in an animal shelter together for 2 weeks in Peru, and rescued stray dogs abandoned in Greece while volunteering at a refugee camp on Lesvos for 2.5 months. While there, we housed 11 cats too (that may have been a bit much haha)! 

I, Michael, ran my own doggy daycare for 6 months in the UK and Jeff has always grown up with pets. I have used DogBuddy (an app similar to Pawshake) extensively in the past too, and loved getting to make new furry friends weekly. I've cared for Cavoodles, Maltese terriers, Chihuahuas, German Shepards, Huskies, PUGs, Spaniels, Labradors, Golder Retrievers, and many more.  

We have returned home to Sydney for 6 months but plan to move permanently to Europe eventually to continue working in refugee camps. We would love to look after your home and furry loved ones while you are gone!

We are looking to pet sit from 30th Nov 2024 for the foreseeable future. We want to be able to look after your furry loved one so that they don't have to stay in a shelter while you go away. We also we we'd be able to give you absolute peace of mind while you are away that they are loved and cared for.

While housesitting, we would love to take your dog(s) on 2 walks per day if possible, and will keep up with your routine feeding schedule while offering lots of cuddles and love to your pet. We will also take care of your home as if it were our own, with respect and diligence. Any gardening and house keeping that is required can be provided. We are more than happy to also send you daily updates on how your dog is going, with pictures of your dog(s) enjoying their time with us on walks and in the home.

I, Michael, typically work in cancer research and mental health research, but I will be studying from home so your pets have company the majority of our stay. I won't be working during this period. Jeffrey will be working as a school teacher during the week, although he has a background in migration and would love to pursue a career aiding refugees. Every now and then, we go for dinner with friends but will never have friends at your home.

I also have experience training dogs simple tricks using ABA therapy also. We will make sure you dog is safe and secure, and follow all instructions you leave us.
