Hi there!

My name is Jess, I'm a Registered Nurse & an avid animal lover of all shapes & sizes!

I am a human nurse, because I'd probably try to take my patients home, and never get any work done if I was a vet nurse😅

I've signed up to be a pet sitter, as I wanted to do something that I would really enjoy on my days off, filling my cup again after mentally & physically demanding days caring for and treating the most vulnerable at work. So what better way to spend my spare time than cuddling & giving love to all your pets! I have the biggest soft spot for any & all animals. I often call out to them when I'm driving, I will stop my partner on the street so I can say hello & point out any animal, I will even wave to the cows on my way to work!

I've always had pets, from the day I could walk. I've had every animal from dogs, cats, birds, a turtle, a hermit crab, a lizard, a snake, even a chicken!

These days, I own one floopy boy cat. His name is Binx, and I consider him as my son! Unfortunately Binx is a rescue, and he has come in contact with CatFlu in the past. So to keep your babies and my boy safe, I am unable to bring any pets into my home, or care for them in my home

In the past I have volunteered at various shelters, keeping the animals company & taking them on walks, so I am no stranger to animal enrichment!

My services are as follows:

⚫️At home sitting (owners home, see above) - days, overnight, longer stays. I'm happy to do basic housekeeping, mail, bins etc. just let me know!

⚫️walks (long walks are welcomed, so are dog parks, play time and the beach!)

⚫️and drop-in visits (feeding, welfare check, litter changes, "present" cleanup etc. )

no request is too strict! it's your pet after all, and I want them to feel protected & well looked after! So please don't hesitate to let me know their routines, meal & diet requirements, hygiene and grooming!

ALSO please note just because one day is blocked out, it may just be that I'm working that day. Please message me if you really need that date, as my work hours are a bit all over the place & I am more than likely able to squeeze you in!

eg. if I start at 1500 that day, I have blocked it out as a personal reminder, BUT I will happily fit in a walk, a drop-in or even just bring my work clothes with me for a sleepover! so don't hesitate to reach out, you never know! 🖤

I'd be more than happy to meet you prior to taking care of your pets too ☺️

*** Please note, although I have not undertaken official training for animal CPR/ First Aid, I am a Trauma Registered Nurse, and even taking into account varying animal anatomy, I am confident in my ability to administer CPR, provide basic first-aid, and administer medications. After all, I've had my fair share of non-compliant patients 😂
