Hi there! My name's Amy, I have worked with and owned animals of every shape and size and from every walk of life. I studied Zoology at UQ and now work as an environmental scientist in Brisbane. I have 2 years of volunteer dog walking experience at the Noosa and Brisbane RSPCA as well as caring for my own dogs.
Dog breeds lovingly cared for include: Boxers, Fox Terriers, German Shepards, Golden Retrievers, Kelpies, Labradors, Jack Russels, Maltese and many more!
Dog walking, running and hiking:
Ivy and I go on lots of fun adventures around Moorooka, Toohey forest, Mt Cootha and Daisy Hill Conservation park. These are usually 5-20km hikes which are fantastic for mentally and physically tiring out pooches. Becuase these walks avoid the hustle and bustle of the city they allow dogs to relax and 'enjoy the scenery'.
We would love to have your pooch tag along on our adventures!
I'm able to pick up pooches from Moorooka and surrounding areas, otherwise we can arrange a drop off at your convenience.
House sitting:
I'm occasionally available for house sitting in the wider Brisbane area. I prefer to housesit for clients who I have previously done walks or home visits for, please keep this in mind when booking.
All guests must be properly socialized with other dogs and have good manners (excluding puppies though they should still have the basics: return when called, house trained, no destruction of property).
Feel free to contact me anytime for a Meet and Greet :)
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
We were very happy to have Amy House sit. We came home to a very happy and content dog and tidy and clean house.
Amy was lovely to deal with and we would definitely have Amy care for our dog again.
Amy was great! She stayed at our house for a weekend to look after our dog and would definitely recommend her. Our dog was happy and our house was tidy!! We would use Amy again!
