About Sascha
Hi, my name is Sascha, I am 45 years old and have been living in St Kilda since May. I am originally from Germany. I have a 4-year-old Labrador (neutered) who came here with my wife and me. For me, my dog is a member of the family and is simply part of everyday life. There is nowhere he is not present, as long as it is permitted and tolerated. I grew up with dogs of different breeds. In my own home or with relatives or friends. Dogs have always fascinated me. So I knew relatively early on that I would have my own dog at some point...
Do you need someone to take your dog for a walk? Or an overnight stay at your place or mine? No problem. I will pick up your four legged friend and bring him back to you.
If I walk someone else's dog or look after it for 24 hours, then I am with that dog the whole time. If the booking is for several days, then the dog might be left alone for a quick trip to the supermarket or something similar. If the dog is at my home, my own dog would still be there too. The prerequisite, of course, is that the two dogs get along well. If a 30-minute walk is booked, I will be out with the dog for at least 30 minutes and, if necessary, keep him busy. If I provide day care, I will take the dog for walks several times. These will then take place together with my dog. Here, too, the prerequisite is that both dogs get along. If the dogs don't get along, I can separate them at home and do the walks individually. At my home there is a small garden that is completely fenced in. I can also give him food or medication. I can give the dog his own basket or you can give him one to bring with you if he is to stay overnight with me. The dogs are also allowed to lie on the couch ;-)
Dogs should be vaccinated and healthy.
I also security-checked. This was requirement to come to Australia!
