Hi I’m Leah! I’m a teaching aide living in St Kilda, and I’ve always loved animals. While I don’t have pets of my own right now, I’ve spent plenty of time caring for dogs of all kinds. from tiny, energetic terriers to gentle older retrievers, and everything in between. I’ve also looked after more independent breeds like Shiba Inus or huskies who need extra exercise, as well as dogs who are a bit nervous and need a calm, patient approach.

I’m happy to adjust to each dog’s personality and needs. Some love long walks along the beach, others prefer playtime at home or gentle cuddles on the couch. I’m comfortable handling multiple dogs at once (I take up to two dogs at a time), and I always supervise introductions carefully to make sure they’re comfortable and safe. Usually, I let them meet slowly in neutral areas, watch their body language, and separate them if needed before letting them spend time together.

I live in a one-bedroom apartment in St Kilda that’s set up with dogs in mind. I have a well-closed-off balcony where dogs can enjoy fresh air safely, a pet spa in the building for baths and grooming if needed, and a designated dog area nearby for bathroom breaks. I take dogs out multiple times a day, including walks around the area, which I tailor to each dog’s energy level. whether it’s a slow, sniff-filled stroll along the street or a more energetic walk at the park.

I’m attentive to every dog’s routine, feeding schedule, and exercise needs, and I make sure they feel comfortable and at home while you’re away. Safety is really important to me. I only accept fully vaccinated dogs, watch their wellbeing closely, and in case of any emergency I’ll contact you immediately and get veterinary care if needed.

I love sending updates and photos so owners can relax while their pups are in my care. My goal is always to make your dog feel happy, safe, and loved while you’re away 🐾
