Hi I'm Ellie, your dog's new best mate!

I'm a responsible, energetic and patient person with a genuine love for animals, now working full time with dogs and their owners. I love walking and training dogs and have had great success and connection with my loyal canine clients during my 18 months at PawShake. I am studying Dog Training and Behaviour at NDTF and I spend time learning about animal behaviour as a personal interest.

For the record, you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! Dogs love the mental stimulation of learning a new skill, and dogs with anxiety, behaviour issues or special needs will respond well to my positive reinforcement training methods. I have a calm energy that soothes dogs and gets them ready to learn.

Right now I've got some free space for new clients for dog walking/training, mostly during the daytime 10-5pm Tues - Fri, and I'm happy to provide after-hours and overnight petsitting .

To book a one hour behavioural/obedience training session, please book a home visit. The other services including dog walking are as indicated.

COVID 19 PRECAUTIONS:

In order to keep everybody safe during this time, I have employed some new procedures.

If dog owners are at home when I pick up the dog, I do a contactless and socially distanced handover of the dog at the front door using my own leash.

If owners are not home, I use hand sanitiser, let myself in, use my own leash and wipe down surfaces and keys after I’ve returned the dog home.

Meet and Greets are now conducted over Zoom or FaceTime.
