Kira

Hi!

I'm Kira, currently in the process of writing up my PhD thesis from home, so I have full weekday availability to walk or look after your fur baby(ies)!

My research is focused around new solar technology, and how future solar energy can be more affordable! While I grew up in the US, my parents are both originally from Germany, so I spent my summers there as a child and speak German fluently. I've lived in Melbourne for the past 3 years and absolutely love it here! I've recently moved to South Yarra and am enjoying getting to know the area. At the moment, I'm having to explore all the parks and cafes by myself, although I'd much rather be doing it with a little furry friend!

Unfortunately, I don't have enough time to be able to look after my own poochy full time, but I am a huge dog lover and dearly miss my little schnoodle, Chico (he's safe and sound with my family back in Arizona). I absolutely adore dogs and am happiest when I'm able to spend as much time surrounded by them as possible, which is why I'm hoping to find someone in South Yarra who could use a little help looking after their pet during the week or on the weekends.

I enjoy going on long walks, which are always more fun with the company of a four-legged friend so if you're in the area, and need some help looking after your dog, please let me know! :) I'm hoping to meet some locals that need help with their dogs, either because they are too busy to get up early to walk them before work, or are working too late to walk them once they get home. Because I am currently finishing up my thesis at home, I have full flexibility on weekdays for when I can walk or visit with your pet. I also have experience pet sitting for a family that owned two dogs, two cats, and a small hampster, and would be happy to help out a family in need of a sitter if they are travelling.
