I’m a 31 year old educational psychology PhD candidate at the University of Melbourne, and am currently working from home.
Dogs have been the greatest source of joy in my life ever since I can remember and I’ve lived with and taken care of 1 up to 5 dogs since the age of 12. I’ve taken care of a Boxers, French Mastiffs, Pugs, Wolfgounds, Spaniels, Labradors and Golden Retrivers and can’t wait to meet more of them and many new breeds. The welfare of dogs and their happiness is primary for me and before the first walk or stay, I would like to discuss their likes, dislikes, needs, personality etc. in details to make sure that the time they spend with me is as good for them as it’ll be for me. Alma Park is probably my favourite place in St Kilda because all the coolest people (erm...dogs) assemble there and since is close to where I live, I can walk your dogs there. I have also now started to understand cats and they seem to like me (I think!?).
Dog walking- I can walk your dogs for 30 minutes twice a day according to your convenience. If you have a pooch who needs more exercise, we can figure out a longer slot too. If I am visiting your place to feed your dog, a similar time can be arranged.
Boarding- I live in a 1 bedroom unit with a huge lounge and backyard very close to Alma Park.
Toilet training is very vital as my flat has carpets and I can’t afford to pay for accidents on the house owner’s carpet. As far as your dog’s sleeping arrangement is concerned we can decide upon it depending on what they are used to. I don’t like to restrict animals within the house as long as they are safe- so they are as welcome on the sofa and bed as they are on the floor.
Please have a look at the photos to understand the setup better and you’re welcome to have a look at my place before making any decisions. There’s a vet’s clinic very close to my place too in case of emergencies. I can also cook for your dog if kibble isn’t their preferred diet.
Neha was outstanding looking after our Golden Retriever Eddie. He'd recently had surgery and Neha was happy to look after his bandaged tail - she even had to take him to a couple of unplanned visits to the vet when the bandage came off. Neha pampered Eddie - he really didn't want to leave and come home after his stay! I'd have no problem in recommending Neha. We've already booked in with her for our next holiday. Thank you Neha!
Neha took wonderful care of our cat Gemma. We would happily use her services again!
